Futsal will begin on January 18th. We are excited to offer this opportunity. All sessions will be held in the main gym.

January 18 – 3:30–5:00 PM
January 25 – 3:30–5:00 PM
February 1 – 3:30–5:00 PM
February 8 – 3:30–5:00 PM
February 15 – 7:00–8:30 PM
February 22 – 7:00–8:30 PM

For in-season athletes, only non-contact activities outside of your primary sport are allowed. This approach ensures your health and safety and protects both you and your team during the season.

If you didn’t sign up and would still like to attend, please just show up.

Congratulations to the High School Quiz Bowl team for finishing runner-up in both Hancock County League in December and Hancock Tournament last week!

High school Quiz Bowl concluded the new HHL (Hancock-Hardin-Logan) League with an all-day, 16-team tournament on Saturday. Both Varsity and JV teams competed in the same bracket, with Varsity finishing 3rd and JV placing 7th. These results earned the team invitations to NAQT State, NAQT National, and NAQT Small School National tournaments. In regular HHL league play, RHS finished 3rd in the Varsity division and 2nd in the JV division. Three Falcons earned individual honors: Nick Bash was the top JV league scorer at 48.5 PPG; Lily Shuster received Varsity All-League Honorable Mention at 26.8 PPG; and Khloe Bash was named Varsity All-League First Team as the league’s 3rd-highest scorer at 54.3 PPG.

Friday’s game against Vanlue will feature two quarters of JV basketball only. Varsity will begin immediately following the two JV quarters. Come out and support our Falcons! 🏀

Please congratulate Michael Zehender, your Riverdale Middle School Spelling Bee Champion! He won by correctly spelling "scurrying". Please also congratulate Clay Van Atta who is your Middle School Runner-Up this year! Thanks to all that participated!

Tough battle tonight for our Lady Falcons as they fell in overtime to Arlington, 60–58. The girls showed grit from start to finish and kept fighting to the final buzzer. Leading the way were Marissa Bonham with 16 points, Claire Inbody with 14, Dylann Thacker with 11, Annalese Woodruff with 9, and Mackenzie Furr with 8. Proud of the effort, teamwork, and never-quit attitude from everyone on the floor. We’ll learn from this one and be back. Thank you to our fans for the great support tonight!
