Lifer's Biology classes spent the week dissecting fetal pigs. They learned about all of the organ systems last week. This week they got to see all of the organs and how they are connected. Students were able to trace the digestive track, measure the small intestine, inflate the lungs, and see the brain.

LOOK AT THE BIG SMILES

The Health Partners of Western Ohio Vision Outreach Team came to Riverdale for the first time on April 22nd. They provided eye exams for 18 students that were signed up by their parents. The 7 students in the picture were prescribed glasses and assisted by the eye specialist in picking out their glasses. The program offers one free replacement pair of glasses for each student within the year by contacting the school nurse. The Vision Outreach Team is planning on coming to the school again next school year in April. We are hoping to increase our number of students to receive eye exams. This is available to all students and parents just fill out the paperwork. Any questions, please contact Susan Eiting, School Nurse @ seiting@riverdalefalcons.org.
