Riverdale Local Schools

We have been learning EVERYTHING about apples this week in Mrs. Brooks' first grade class. Today we taste tested 3 varieties (Honeycrisp, Crimson Crisp and Golden Delicious) and sorted the seeds to take home. Tomorrow we will be tasting local apple cider and will be making apple pie in a cup on Friday.

Riverdale Cross Country had a strong showing at the Hardin County Meet, with the girls taking 1st place and the boys finishing 2nd.

Paige Vent led the girls with a 2nd-place finish, followed by Annalese Woodruff in 3rd and Gwen Bucher in 4th.

For the boys, Kolten Evans finished 2nd, Gio Noascono placed 4th, and Cohen Phillips finished 7th.

Great job by both teams representing Riverdale!

Congratulations to the High School Quiz Bowl Team for starting out their NCOESC League play strong today with a 3-0 record. The team will begin their HHL League competitions next week with both Varsity and JV matches at Kenton.

Riverdale Boys Soccer picked up a huge conference win last night!

After multiple rain delays, the Falcons battled through a hard-fought match and found the game-winning goal in the final four minutes. Cameron Snook buried the winner off an assist from Rodrigo Hernandez Sanchez to give Riverdale the victory over their conference rival.

Reydon Bishop came up big in goal, recording a two-save shutout to preserve the win! A great team effort and a clutch finish when it mattered most!

Bus 15 hit a deer, damaging the grill of the bus, no students were injured, students were transferred to a different bus & they are back in route home
