Riverdale Local Schools

Riverdale Cross Country had a strong showing at the Hardin County Meet, with the girls taking 1st place and the boys finishing 2nd.

Paige Vent led the girls with a 2nd-place finish, followed by Annalese Woodruff in 3rd and Gwen Bucher in 4th.

For the boys, Kolten Evans finished 2nd, Gio Noascono placed 4th, and Cohen Phillips finished 7th.

Great job by both teams representing Riverdale!

Congratulations to the High School Quiz Bowl Team for starting out their NCOESC League play strong today with a 3-0 record. The team will begin their HHL League competitions next week with both Varsity and JV matches at Kenton.

Our 1st graders had a blast in PE today racing, laughing, and working together in the Oodles of Noodles Relay Race! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Ms. French's AQR (advanced quantitative reasoning) class is practicing hands on math by finding the surface area of her room. They are starting a project to find the costs of remodeling different classrooms in the high school wing!

Riverdale Boys Soccer picked up a huge conference win last night!

After multiple rain delays, the Falcons battled through a hard-fought match and found the game-winning goal in the final four minutes. Cameron Snook buried the winner off an assist from Rodrigo Hernandez Sanchez to give Riverdale the victory over their conference rival.

Reydon Bishop came up big in goal, recording a two-save shutout to preserve the win! A great team effort and a clutch finish when it mattered most!

Bus 15 hit a deer, damaging the grill of the bus, no students were injured, students were transferred to a different bus & they are back in route home

🌟 Staff Spotlight – Mrs. Jennifer Kubly! 🌟

We want to take a moment to recognize Mrs. Jennifer Kubly for the positive attitude, effort, and teamwork she has shown throughout the MAP Growth testing process.

Mrs. Kubly has remained positive and flexible while working through the challenges and changes that come with testing. She has asked thoughtful questions, worked collaboratively to solve problems, and taken the initiative to watch training videos and find solutions on her own.

Her willingness to learn, problem-solve, and help make the process better for everyone has truly been appreciated!

To show our appreciation, Mrs. Kubly received a Certificate of Appreciation and one of her favorites — a Twix candy bar! 🍫🏆
