Record alert 🚨 Marissa did it again! She broke her own 200m school record last night with a blazing 25.9 seconds! She’s in great form and showing serious speed every time she steps on the track. 👏
Happy Administrative Professionals Day! 🎉
Today we want to give a huge thank you to the incredible administrative team that keeps Riverdale running smoothly each and every day—Gayle, Vicki, Jade, and Brittany!
Your organization, dedication, and positive attitudes make a difference in ways that often go unseen, but never unappreciated. From helping students and staff to keeping everything on track behind the scenes, you are truly the backbone of our building.
We are grateful for all that you do for our students, staff, and community. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to Riverdale! 💙

🌎 Celebrating Earth Day!
Mrs. Alexander’s first-grade class spent time caring for our environment by cleaning up trash around the playground and pond. We also gathered in the pavilion to read an Earth Day book and talk about ways we can help take care of our planet.
We even spotted a goose protecting her eggs—she wasn’t too sure about us being nearby, but it was a great reminder of how animals care for their homes too!
Small actions can make a big difference 💚

Mrs. Dapper's Advanced Math and Reading students participated in their annual GLOW Week last week in preparation for their upcoming state tests! They completed all of their assignments and task cards under the black light with highlighters! Fun was had by all, all while reviewing their skills!

Ms Lifer's Environmental class has been working on making solar powered houses. They were able to try them outside in the sun!

Mrs. Brooks’ 1st-grade scientists have been learning all about weather, thunder, and lightning! Students explored how storms form and even observed electrical charge using a static electricity ball to see how lightning can happen. Hands-on learning made science come alive! ⚡🌩️
