Congratulations to the HS Quiz Bowl team. They finished two points ahead of perennial rival Ada to earn Second Place at Ada Invitational Monday night. Only loss on the night came in the final game with Bluffton. Outstanding finish amongst a tough field of competitors which included Bluffton, Ada, Elida, Liberty Benton, Kenton, HN, USV, Ridgemont and CR. Great job! Team next competes at the Hardin County Tournament on February 24th.
Ms Lifer's Forensic Biology class completed Banana Autopsies. Students had to determine how the banana died, collect evidence from the body, fill out an autopsy form, and then stitch them back up.

CALLING ALL RIVERDALE KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS FOR ‘22/’23
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION IS UNDERWAY
Riverdale Local Schools will be conducting their annual kindergarten screening on Thursday, March 24, 2022.
Screening will take place at the Riverdale Elementary School in the kindergarten classrooms.
Parents who have children who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2022 are asked to call Rhonda in the elementary office at 419-694-2211 ext. 1113 beginning February 7th. After registering, you will receive a packet of papers in the mail. Please fill out the papers and return to the elementary office as soon as possible.
Parents are asked to provide a copy of their child’s official birth certificate, immunization record, proof of residency and custody papers if applicable.
Parents who reside in Riverdale Local School District need to register their child even if considering open enrollment to another district.

The CCP meeting that was originally scheduled for January 25th will now be held on February 1st at 6pm in the cafeteria. In case of inclement weather again, there will be an online recording available after February 1st.
Riverdale is on a 2 HOUR DELAY for January 26th.

Congratulations to the HS Quiz Bowl team, their regional tournament wins have earned them invitations to both NAQT Small School National Championship Tournament in Chicago and NAQT High School National Championship Tournament in Atlanta. The team will also be competing in NAQT Ohio Small School State Championship in March.
