
Congratulations to the High School Quiz Bowl Team for winning the Hardin County Tournament last night. With last night's victory, the team finished undefeated in all three of our county leagues and tournaments.

Today 16 band students performed at OMEA District 3 Solo & Ensemble Competition! Sydney Bickford, The Sax Quintet (Mackenzi Thompson, Tehya Rodabaugh, Abby Mellott, Megan Hayes, and Hayden Childers), and the Percussion Quintet (Jenna Evans, Hannah Williams, Jerry Bland, Bradley Thomas, and Mackenzi Thompson) received SUPERIOR ratings! Payton Logan and The Woodwind Quartet (Lilyauna Passet, Jenna Melroy, Alexia Hall, and Jenna Lowden) received an EXCELLENT rating!!! Well done to our Musical Falcons and also a big thank you to Mrs. Charlotte Dodge for accompanying the soloists! #BluePride

CALLING ALL RIVERDALE KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS FOR ‘20/’21
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION IS UNDERWAY
Riverdale Local Schools will be conducting their annual kindergarten screening on
Friday, March 13, 2020.
Screening will take place at the Riverdale Elementary School in the kindergarten classrooms.
Parents who have children who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2020 are asked to call the elementary office at 419-694-2211 ext. 1113 beginning February 3rd. After registering, you will receive a packet of papers in the mail. Please fill out these papers and return to the elementary office by Friday, February 28th.
Parents are asked to provide a copy of their child’s official birth certificate, shot records, social security card, proof of residency and custody papers if applicable.
Parents who reside in Riverdale Local School District need to register their child even if considering open enrollment to another district.

Congratulations to all of the students who got a part in the Musical! Your name may appear more than once so look over carefully! We will have a read-through on Tuesday the 28th from 3:30-5:30. A February schedule and scripts will be passed out on Tuesday as well. Seize the day!



A reminder that Riverdale Local Schools will be closed on Monday, January 20th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Today is the last day for students in grades 10 & 11 to apply to Millstream for the 20-21 school year. Students can apply @ bit.ly/millstreamapp. The application will remain open for the rest of the school year, but preference will be given to those who met the February deadline.

Congratulations to the winners of the annual Spelling Bee. Elementary - 1st Place Bryce Palmer & Runner-up Bradey Brazie. Middle School - 1st Place Haidyn Thacker and Runner-up Chloe Quail. Bradey and Haidyn will compete in the Hancock County Spelling Bee on January 30th.
