Mrs. Suever's 3rd grade class explored division by separating counters or cubes into equal groups. They were given total amounts to start with, and also the amount of groups they needed to split the items into. They recorded their totals, and any remainders. It was a fun way to "see" how division works as we begin to learn about it!
