Riverdale 5th grade boys battled in the USV league tournament yesterday and captured the Runner-up title. They have put in a lot of hard work this season. The future looks bright for these young athletes. Congrats!

Ms Lifer's Forensic classes have been learning about autopsies and cause, mechanism, and manner of death. This week they wrote a death report, re-enacted the report on a banana, autopsied another student's banana, and wrote an autopsy report.
Elective selection forms should be coming home this weekend for students currently in 5th-7th grade. If your son/daughter did not receive one, please have them see Mr. Shumaker. Please talk about this decision, sign, and return the form. These will be due March 3rd. Thank you!

Congratulations to the High School Quiz Bowl Team for finishing runner-up at Kenton Invitational NAQT Tournament. In addition, our team captain Khloe Bash was recognized as 5th overall individual scorer in the tournament. This second place finish earned the team invitations to both NAQT Ohio State Championship and NAQT Small School National Tournament!
Congratulations to Riverdale's own Brenna Farmer on being named the MAC Player of the Week! Brenna hit .588 with 10 hits, 2 doubles, 13 RBI, 2 runs scored and 1 walk. She also recorded a .579 on base percentage and a .706 slugging percentage. Way to go Brenna! #BluePride!

We will be taking a Riverdale Student Spirit Bus to cheer on the Lady Falcons Basketball team as they travel to Liberty Benton to take on the Lady Eagles in their quest to win the BVC Title. Be at Riverdale School by 5:30pm to ride the bus with us! We will return to Riverdale School immediately after the game. You will need $5 for admission to the game and your own transportation to and from Riverdale School.
Riverdale Third Graders enjoyed a visit from the Hancock Park District this week. Each class visited different stations to learn about animal characteristics and adaptations. They got to put what they learned during our Adaptations unit into practice, and extend their knowledge in a variety of ways!
