
The Premier 1 Fortnite Team qualified for the Esports Ohio Fall Classic State Tournament to be played Tuesday November 19, 2024 @ 4:00pm. This a remote tournament meaning our players will be playing from the esports lab here at Riverdale along with 29 other schools from around the state! This will consist of 3 drops that will be live streamed! The link will be shared next week. Way to go Falcon Esports! #BluePride


Today Riverdale NHS hosted the Veterans Day assembly that honored the veterans and their service. Thank you to the members of NHS, the maintenance for the set up, the tech team for the sound, and the band and choir members who performed! Also, a huge shout out to Sergeant Gudgel for speaking, as well as the veterans who have served our country and those that are still serving our country!










Congratulations to 2021 Riverdale graduate Jackson Clark who was recently named the Heartland Athletic Conference Player or the Week for Men's Soccer. Jackson just completed his senior season at Bluffton University. #Bluepride


Forensics has been learning about fingerprints. This week they learned about fingerprint fuming and completed a lab decorating their fumed fingerprints.





On Thursday November 7th, the Riverdale 5th grade TAG students were joined by other gifted students from around Hancock county and were able to explore the Mazza Museum and STEAM center, learn about Japanese culture, and take a campus tour! It was a great day to learn about higher education opportunities!


Students in Grades K-2 rode the first SOAR Train of the year this morning to celebrate all of their hard work to achieve their goals. Students in grades 3-5 will have their SOAR Passports stamped this afternoon. SOAR stands for Students of Ohio Achieving Results! Keep up the good work, students!

The junior class is wanting to give back to our community this season by giving back to local nursing homes and hospitals. We will be sending information home with elementary students in case you want to particpate. Juniors are also going to be fundraising so if you do not have an elementary student, please see a junior, Mrs. Boes, or Ms. Hayter to participate. Please see the attached information. We need the money and the order by November 22, 2024.



It's Election Day in 2nd grade! The candidates were gummy bears, Skittles, and M&M's! Students registered to vote, wrote persuasive paragraphs, and cast their ballots. The votes were counted and the winner was Skittles!

Riverdale Cross Country is STATE-BOUND!! The team was escorted past the entire school by Deputy Hartman and our local fire trucks and EMTs! #BluePride


Mrs. Farmer's 2nd grade class enjoyed a lesson led by Mrs. Kissell from the Hancock ESC. Students learned about different types of spider webs and created their own web. Thank you Mrs. Kissell for coming to Riverdale!
